Mayor Aaron McLeroy has served as Mayor for the City of Tuttle since May 2018. He previously served as Ward 1 Councilmember for 3 years. Mayor McLeroy has lived in Tuttle his whole life and graduated from Tuttle High School in 1991. In 2000, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma. Mayor McLeroy is the third generation owner of the family business that his grandfather started in 1965. He has been married to his wife Misty for 14 years, together they have raised four children. Something that the Mayor has never forgotten since he was a young boy were some words from his sixth grade teacher Mrs. Martin, “If at some point in your life you haven’t done something to make this world a better place, then you have failed.” Another memory he will never forget about his social studies teacher, Mrs. Martin is “If you don’t vote, you don’t have the right to gripe.”
