Austin is a life long Tuttle resident and serves as the councilman for Ward 1. He received his bachelors degree in business management and his masters degree in finance from Oklahoma Christian University. Austin works as an insurance and financial advisor in south Oklahoma City with Bulmer Financial Group. In addition to serving as a council-man, Austin also serves on the board of directors at Camp LuJo as part of the finance committee. Austin and his wife Kelly moved back to Tuttle in 2013 to raise a family. Their son Everett will grow up a Tuttle Tiger. Kelly works for the Oklahoma Health Care Authority and Everett works hard being a newborn. Austin is passionate about making his community a better place and encourages citizens to get involved and share their ideas on how to make Tuttle best for everyone.
