Mary grew up in Hobart, Oklahoma. She graduated from Oklahoma State University and earned her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma.
In 2008 she retired from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Oklahoma. At that time, she was assigned to the Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force and was Senior Litigation Counsel for the office. Before joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office she was a law clerk for the Hon. David L. Russell, U.S. District Judge. She has also worked in journalism, for KWTV news and the Lawton Constitution. She was Tuttle’s Associate Municipal Judge before running for the Ward 2 Council seat. For over three decades she’s lived in Tuttle and has been involved in the Friends of the Tuttle Public Library, the Tuttle Round-Up Club, and the Tuttle Farmers Market.
