Fireworks Discharge Policy

  • Fireworks can be discharged within Tuttle daily from June 27th through July 4th.
  • Fireworks may only be discharged between 2:00 pm and 10:00 pm daily, except for July 4th when the hours are 9:00 am through 11:00 pm.
  • Fireworks may not be discharged within 500 feet of any church, school, fireworks stand, or unharvested flammable agricultural crop.
  • A responsible adult must be present at all times to supervise any child who is handling, discharging, or is otherwise in possession of fireworks.
  • The discharge of fireworks is prohibited during burn bans issued by Grady County or the Governor.
  • The Fire Chief may also prohibit the discharge of fireworks during periods of high fire danger.
