Library Cards

To obtain a library card, visit the Tuttle Library and fill out an application or signup online by visiting our catalog and clicking on the "Sign Up" button on the right side of the page.

Adult patron cards are free for Tuttle residents. Please bring a photo ID and proof of residence (such as a bill) to the library. Cards are $5 per year for in-state non-residents. Children’s library cards are free as long as they are associated with an adult’s library card. We no longer issue library cards to out-of-state residents.

If you lose your card, you can get a replacement card for $2.00.

You can use your library card to check out up to 10 items at a time. Items may be kept for 14 days and renewed three times. If items are not renewed after 14 days, they become overdue and there is a .10 per day fine. Fines must be paid before you can check out more items.

To access your account, visit the library catalog. On the upper right side of the site, enter your library card number and PIN (the phone number associated with your library card) and click “Login,” then click “My Account.” You will be able to renew your checked out items, view your checkout history, reserved items, and bookmarked items in the catalog, request items for the library to purchase, and review your account information.

To reserve items in the catalog, click on the item you want to expand its catalog entry, then click on the “Reserve this item” button.

If the item is available, we will reserve it for you. If it is currently checked out, you will be placed on a waiting list for it. We will notify you when the item is ready to be checked out. You may also bookmark the item for later.

You can defer your reserves by clicking on "My Account" then on the "Reserves / Requests" tab. This is helpful for those times when you are going out of town or you aren't ready to check out your upcoming reserves.
