Meet people who share a love of reading at Tuttle Library with Let’s Talk About It, a dynamic book club organized by Oklahoma Humanities (OH) that has connected curious readers across the state since 1985. Made possible by an OH grant and generous funding and support from the Kirkpatrick Family Fund and Oklahoma City University, this program is free and open to all.
The theme of the series is “The Oklahoma Experience: Re-Visions" and all five books are set in Oklahoma. These books show people shaping their own lives within the historical moment, even when they are caught up in events that are beyond them -- from the Trail of Tears through the post-Vietnam era. Local scholars will lead each discussion and provide valuable insights.
Stop by the library to borrow a copy of the book to read in advance. You can join one or more sessions or the entire series as each book becomes available in the coming months.
